MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLEProspect and develop a pipeline of new business selling PayPoint services including MultiPay, Direct Debit and cash in store
Target companies across a range of sectors including; Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Utility providers
Complete tenders and negotiate commercial terms
Achieve annual revenue contribution from new business in line with agreed targets
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for achieving new business volume and revenue targets
Research new verticals and target appropriate companies with PayPoint products and services
Effectively deal with inbound enquiries from prospects
Use Salesforce to maintain sales pipeline and report regularly on progress
Negotiate long term agreements with new clients
Work closely with Client Management, Product and Marketing teams to develop case studies and improve sales collateral
Identify new opportunities to increase transactions and revenue from existing product set
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure new clients are implemented quickly and efficiently
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience of major strategic solution selling to medium and large organisations
Ability to develop relationships with senior industry figures
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Used to overcoming objections and achieving results
Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels to influence and make things happen
Excellent presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills
Experience within the payments industry desirable
Preferably educated to degree level but not essential

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFORMATIONOffice hours 09.00 to 17.15 hours - flexibility to come in earlier and stay later is essential
The role will involve travel as the position will serve clients in all parts of the UK
